The Bureau of Audits
The Bureau of Audits is
the Commonwealth’s primary internal audit organization, serving all agencies
under the Governor’s jurisdiction. Services offered by the bureau include
performance audits, agreed-upon procedure engagements, management control
evaluations, risk assessments, information technology and system development reviews, assistance
with Commonwealth GAAP and Single Audit, and fraud education for agencies. We
utilize a risk-based approach, including data analytics, to expand our audit
coverage and provide value-added services to agencies across the Commonwealth.
