2014-15 Report on State Performance
The 2014-15 Report on State Performance allows readers to review the activities, challenges and accomplishments of 30 commonwealth agencies and see state government efforts to deliver quality services and improve the lives of Pennsylvania's citizens.
The report is organized into seven goal areas: education, economic development, health and human services, the environment, public safety, consumer protection and government efficiency. It summarizes agency key objectives and presents results for dozens of distinct program performance measures. Commonwealth agencies routinely work to improve program measures and track progress towards achieving agency goals and objectives. This emphasis on accountability is especially important in today's uncertain economy when state resources are scarce and every dollar must be spent wisely.
The first Report on State Performance was released in 2008. The latest report and the 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 reports are available online, in a "dashboard" format that offers interactive features not possible with a paper report. The online report includes PDF print options that readers can use to print specific sections of the report. All state performance reports are prepared by the Office of the Budget’s Division of Performance Improvement, with the assistance of the participating agencies.
